Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
HSBC Factoring France (HFF) is a subsidiary of HSBC Continental Europe (HBCE) dedicated to Receivable Finance covering continental Europe, its main markets being France, Spain, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of Manager, Transaction Risk Management (GCB 5).
What you will do:
Join an existing team who are responsible for supporting structures across the Receivable Finance product range.
In this role you will:
• Work alongside GTRF Business Development Managers, Structuring and Network RM’s to support their activity to grow our revenue in a sustainable way.
• Work closely with GTRF Client Managers to review existing structures seeking to maximise revenue opportunities whilst balancing the risks and any potential LIC’s these may cause, in any funding structure GTRF may be providing to a customer.
• Review new business applications, renewal applications and ad hoc requests, prepare TRM recommendations and either where within your CAA approve/support/decline transactions or where not recommend to the Credit Director or HFF Credit Committee.
• Attend weekly HFF Credit Committees and deputise for the Credit Director when necessary.
• Support GTRFs compliance management culture, adhering to and helping to develop processes in place for the management of credit, operational, reputation, financial crime, and regulatory risk.
• Participate and contribute towards ad hoc projects and ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting.
• Participate in the negotiations and ongoing monitoring and administration of HFF’s Trade Credit Insurance policies.
