At Evotec’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global IT team is looking for two additional resources with a technical background able to support and to enhance the team in the IT environment. We are looking for people interested in growing and learning in a Research Pharmaceutical advanced sector. Communication skills, flexibility and open-mindedness are essential. Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation of our existing infrastructure services, Azure, AWS, as well as onPremise
You are responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of a terminal / VDI environment (onPremise or in the Cloud)
You are responsible for the Support / maintenance and expansion / updating of our Citrix environments and the necessary server systems
You drive standardization and are in charge of the global Windows Server management
You are responsible for the operation and and maintenance of our storage Systems
Qualifications:
You have several years of professional experience in a position as Infrastructure Administrator, Terminal Services Administration or in a similar position
You already have professional experience in the following areas: Microsoft Azure and AWS IaaS; Server infrastructure services; Windows Server; Citrix Virtual Apps, XenDesktop, Citrix; Storage Managment; Backup (Azure Backup, DPM)
Automation supports you in solving routine tasks as well as more complex scenarios efficiently
Good knowledge of hardware and storage
Ideally experience in Microsoft Hyper-V Server and VMWare vSphere 7.x
Very good knowledge of German and English
