Senior Embedded Linux Kernel Engineer

Salary – €70000 (Negotiable – Depending on experience)

 
5VTech have recently partnered with an exciting engineering consultancy in Toulouse.  This company work on software engineering projects on an international scale in a variety of industries including: Automotive, aerospace, IoT healthcare, and telecommunications.

 
They have a large presence in the Automotive market and have multiple projects ongoing where they need engineers. One of these projects is focused around a Telematics solution for one of their customers.

 
To help with this project they are searching for an Embedded Linux Kernel to help build a distribution with Yocto.

 
As the Emebdded Linux kernel expert you will be responsible for dealing with the integration of the Yocto framework and Linux Kernel drivers into the telematics solution
 

As this company is based in Toulouse you will be expected to visit the office 2 days per week.

 
To be suitable for this position you will need the skills highlighted below:

• Strong background in Embedded software development in C language
• Expert in Linux Kernel configuration and driver development
• Knowledge of the Yocto framework
• Experience of using Shell for scripting
