Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.
What you'll do
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Patient Health Records team in Patient Health Platform domain.
As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to work on the patient-side of the application, new features and continuous improvements. You will be working in a feature team developing the Patient Health Records functionality, enabling for easier patient-doctor document sharing experience and helping us to become the go-to healthcare companion app.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients
Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the application.
Bring your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test and monitor high-quality features
Improving the performance of key features implemented in React (TypeScript/Javascript) and Ruby on Rails, sometimes completely challenging the status quo
Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team)
Contributing to establishing a technical vision and co-drive the creation of the roadmap for next quarters

You are proactive, curious, and collaborative and eager to learn
You are a full stack developer with a good knowledge of Javascript/Typescript and Ruby on Rails (or similar frameworks). You have a good understanding of web technologies and software development life cycle
You have a “user first” mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well-tested and pragmatic code.
