For agents and brand representatives, our mission is to make instant and easy bookings a ubiquitous reality.

For models and talents in general, our mission is to make travel, housing and booking management as easy as opening and reading an email.

Tasks

As a software engineer, you will be part of a team of engineers supported by the CEO and the CTO.

Your role will be to design and deploy HQ’s various systems :

• The mobile native Model application.
• The web Workspace application for agencies and brands.
• The backend serving our clients applications.

Your missions :

• Develop new functionalities and improve existing ones.
• Be responsible for technical choices to guarantee quality code and architecture.
• Review PRs and carry out peer programming.
• Help your team's developers to progress by implementing best practices (testing, Clean Code, etc.).
• Improve your team's performance (collaboration, organization, etc.).
• Take on the role of customer success manager for our users and assist them with their support requests.

Depending on your affinities, it is possible after some time to evolve in a role where the focus could be the front-end, back-end, cybersecurity or other tech-related specializations.

Requirements

We use the following technical stack :

• Backend : Node with Nest.js
• Desktop and mobile frontends : React, React-Native (Expo)

Your profile :

• You define yoursel as a full-stack software engineer.
• You have experience in one or many tools of our technical stack.
• You are never done with teaching yourself the newest skills in web and mobile development.
• Solving complex problems doesn't scare you, either alone or as part of a team.
• You're willing to learn quickly under pressure.
• You understand, write and speak business English.

Here's an overview of the recruitment process :

• A 30-minutes call to understand your motivations.
• A 1-hour programming challenge to do at home.
• A live programming exercise with the CTO, and a simulation where you’re asked to solve a technical problem or design a feature.
• A meeting with HQ’s CEO, Franck.

The recruitment process takes between 5 and 15 days, depending on your availability. By the end of the process, you’ll receive an answer within a week in order to let you know if you’re a fit for HQ .
