Reporting directly to PR HQ Head of Financial control , the Senior Business Analyst (SBA) will be the key financial point of contact for operational departments, delivering more value as business partner in the follow-up of the performance & projects of those departments, while ensuring the respect of financial compliance and WoW as well as participating to the roll-out of the Finance Digital Transformation.
Roles and responsibilities:
1) YOU WILL BE THE FINANCIAL BUSINESS PARTNER TO THE DEPARTMENT
Fully embedded in the departments, the SBA is acting as the key financial point of contact to all relevant stakeholders and covering:

Autonomous animation of financial processes with all relevant stakeholders (monthly spend & DTG review, Rolling Forecast consolidation, ad-hoc analyses, etc.)

Deep understanding of the departments’ projects and ways-of-working to help elaborate & challenge underlying financial assumptions

Regular presentation of financial reporting and ad-hoc analyses to department’s top management -

Close operational support to implement finance Wow / projects (best practice sharing, tools’ training) and compliance tracking through appropriate KPIs (payment terms, internal audit processes)

Efficient coordination with Tax and Group FP&A team to assess & validate financial impacts on group level
2) YOU WILL BE THE RELAY TO HQ FINANCE TEAM
As HQ Finance team member, the SBA takes part in the Group’s & HQ’s financial processes both in terms of financial monitoring & compliance. Through the strong implication in the department’s day to day activities, he / she will ensure:

Coherent synthesis of financial processes (monthly closing & Forecast cycle) to be integrated in the global HQ presentations

Continuous improvement of accounting reliability (cut off, nature of cost classification, statutory vs. consolidated accounts, etc.)

Profound understanding of local financial tools (JDE, P2P, BI etc.) to ensure right master data setup facilitating financial analyses (cost centers, projects, etc.)

Clear vision on local and group Finance 4.0 projects to ensure adaption within departments

Adapt support on compliance and internal control processes (LSF, audit points remediation, ad-hoc review of processes and best practice sharing)

Required skills:
- Good knowledge of accounting principles (P&L & balance sheet) facilitating discussions with other Finance teams & to instil finance excellence in departments
- Interest in- and ability to drive change on Finance tools: excellent knowledge of Excel, good knowledge of ERP and data visualization tools (Power BI would be a plus)
- Adapt communication depending on stakeholder seniority and excellent interpersonal skills to excel in a highly collaborative & internal environment
- Intrinsic pro-activity and curiosity to ensure operational excellence & continuous improvement
- Proven autonomy & agility to ensure pertinent business partnering
- Rigorous and excellence approach to ensure quality of analyses communicated to stakeholders incl. Pernod Ricard’s top mgmt.
Profile :
- Business, engineering or equivalent master’s degree with a specialization in Finance
- Experience in consulting environment or in FP&A in a corporate environment (minimum 3-5 years)
- Prior experience in business analysis & reporting processes
- Fluent in French and English
Terms:
- Position available immediately
- Based in Paris 8ème (near the Saint Lazare train station)
- Possibility to work up to 2 days per week remotely
