IT EHSQ Business Analyst
Job Summary
JOB PURPOSE
Early 2018, Imerys has launched an ambitious internal transformation program to foster efficiency within the group: MAKE IT #1. MAKE IT#1 Group wide digital transformation is reshaping Imerys Digital landscape, encompassing 5 pillars: a set of common language and processes, a global ERP Core Model S4/Hana based, a common collaboration platform (GNOC, GSOC, unified WAN) and a common unified IT organization.
In order to enable seamless development and roll out of these new tools and processes, Imerys IT is evolving, in 2021, from an IT with strong regional platforms, to a more global organization, to enable a strategic & consistent partnership with the BAs & functions as well as simplifying and harmonizing the IT landscape.
The purpose of the IT Expert is to:
Contribute to the efficiency and performance of the EHSQ, Product Stewardship Functions Group-wide and in BAs he/she supports
Promote and implement IT solutions to bring value to the BA(s)/Function(s) and contribute to reaching its objectives
Be a prescriptor and advocate for global IT solutions (data, architecture, security…).
JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS
Specific to the domain
End-to-end IT service delivery to the Environmental Health & Safety, Energy Management, and Product Stewardship organizations under the direction of the IT Manager - EHSQ, Product Stewardship & Sustainability Business Partner, including project management, roll-out and on-going support. Specifically but not limited to Environmental Health & Safety applications such as Enablon, Industrial Quality/QMS, and Product Data Management systems..
Specific to the position
Approximately 10 colleagues to work with functional wise
Up to 5 projects in a high level follow-up mode, with 1 or 2 Top projects
Approximately 10 stakeholders within business and IT
Budget follow-up and reporting to his manager
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface between IT and the Business
Develop a deep knowledge of the EHSQ, Product Management Functions/Business and build positive relationships.
Educate Business Experts about IT processes, roles, and capabilities.
Establish communication processes and channels across business functions.
Business Partner for the Domain
Develop knowledge about the IT landscape dealing with EHSQ, Product Stewardship and related business needs
Partner with business teams to plan new joint initiatives aligned with corporate strategy, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities.
Contribute to project portfolio based on business strategic plan.
Advocate for an awareness and focus on Business/IT strategic plans.
Engage with enterprise architecture to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps.
Identify and integrate Business' long-range plans into business capability roadmaps and priorities, as appropriate.
Solution Provider
Focus on business value rather than solutions to develop ideas, including digital awareness, risk assessments, business continuity, and business capability requirements.
Be creative and innovative with regards to your knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs.
Budget Management and Execution
Contribute to the BP functional operating and project/program budget, and perform accurate budgeting and forecasting across operations and projects or programs.
Partner with the project/program/portfolio management organizations (PMO/OT PMO) to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio.
Ensure projects and initiatives progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes escalation and avoiding risk.
Measure and communicate business value realized on a periodic basis.
Service Management
Contribute to the training and development options and select appropriate methodology taking into account the individual, program and business requirements.
Coach and/or mentor individuals and teams to address development needs.
Aid in the transition of EHSQ legacy applications to the Group OT Applications team once adoption reaches critical mass.
Supervise the IT delivery and quality of services of the Domain in charge
Participate in establishing standards, best practices and frameworks to attain short and long term goals and vision.
Aid in coordination and execution of EHSQ & Product Data management system DRP tests.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience requirements
Essential
4 years' higher education – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Environmental Health & Safety or Engineering field.
3+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.
Proficient in English
Experience implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with:
Environmental regulations and policies.
Product regulatory compliance requirements: Safety Data Sheets, shipping and handling labels...
IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity principles in Industrial and IT Networks.
Industry 3.0, Industrial IT architecture & technologies
Industry 4.0 technologies such as IIOT, Big Data analysis/cloud computing, augmented reality, simulation, robotics and drones.
Business systems such as ERP and CMMS and their interaction with industrial networks.
Has previously held positions as a key contributor, facilitator, project leader, etc.

The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
Domestic and international travel may require physical effort associated with luggage and professional computer transportation. Hours can be extensive as well due to travel.

Plant environments may be dusty and prone to airborn minerals.
Job requirements may correspond with reduced mobility situations.
