The Sales department monitors is in charge to offer relevant commercial offers to developers of wind projects. During the commercial and contractual negotiation steps, this team is supported by legal advisers. The sales cycle can extend over several months and the contracts reach several million euros.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Sales Support Engineer is to support the Sales Managers in their customer interactions, preparing key sales documentation including tender responses and support contract closing activities.

  • Support the Sales Manager in their customer interactions.
  • Support on the bid management process and involvement in the strategic offerings of tenders. 
  • Assist in preparing and compiling technical and commercial proposals.
  • Prepare contracts and technical annexes.
  • Co-ordinate with each department as part of the team selling approach to projects.
  • During contracts closing, co-ordinate the validation process with the departments (technology, transport, construction, legal, finance).
  • Liaise with the back office for creation of projects in SAP/Quotations/Review Meetings/Milestones/Precalc/CRM.
  • Support the reporting activities.
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences, customer events and market intelligence activities.
  • Attendance of both internal and external meetings, taking notes and producing reports.
  • Participate in hand-over meetings from sales to project execution.
  • Support and control that processes and procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Handle contract documentation print and compile contracts.
  • Qualifications

  • Master's Degree (or equivalent work experience) Engineering, business, marketing and sales or related field of study.
  • Fluent in English/French required
  • Good business skills
  • Good Knowledge of the office pack in general, and SAP is a valuable addition
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position, if possible, in the energy sector
  • Competencies

  • Comfortable in data management and analysis
  • Should be highly motivated, hard-working, professional and possess good customer-service skills.
  • Should have a Team spirit, curiosity, rigor, organization, motivated, results-oriented, and to be mobile because trips planned for the activity.
