About therole 

As aproduct engineer for our hardware assisted verification portfolio whichincludes Veloce proFPGA and Veloce Primo you will play a key role in helpingdefine the future of FPGA based prototyping, train customers and support staff,and provide 2nd tier advanced support to customers and applications engineers.

We arelooking for an applicant who is equally as excited about the opportunity toshare knowledge as they are to gain it.

Area ofresponsibility 

  • Develop and present labs,demonstrations, tutorials and training presentations for internal and externalaudiences
  • Develop and record short videopresentations for self-paced learning
  • Work closely with R&D andmarketing to define the next generation prototyping solutions
  • Develop and/or refine themethodology for maximizing the value of our prototyping solutions
  • Track the development of newfeatures, report progress to cross functional groups, provide feedback on userexperience and be amongst the first users of the feature
  • Opportunities for globaltravel to meet with customers, R&D and applications engineers
  • Hybrid work environment at anoffice site shared with key R&D groups
  • Work with general supervisionon complex projects with latitude for independent judgment and discretion
  • Share knowledge andcommunicate ideas through a wide variety of mediums including power-pointpresentations, self-guided lab exercise, example designs, videos, white papersand conference papers
  • Minimumqualification

  • BS or MS in Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3 years ofexperience in digital design and/or verification
  • Ability to learn, understandand communicate complex technical information
  • PreferredQualifications

  • Design experience inSystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL
  • Verification experience withSystemVerilog, SystemC and/or C/C++
  • Debug of RTL designs usingFPGA debug technologies (e.g., Certus, ChipScope, SignalTap, or Vivado ILA)
  • ASIC and/or FPGAimplementation experience (synthesis, place&route)
  • Proficient in scriptinglanguages (e.g., Perl, Python, various shell scripts/Makefiles, Tcl, etc.)
  • Experience with FPGA tools(e.g., Intel Quartus Prime, AMD Xilinx Vivado)
  • Experience with emulation orprototyping
  • Good communication andinter-personal skills
