LVMH Beauty Tech - Data Governance IT Manager

Position

LVMH Beauty Tech is the IT / IS team dedicated to LVMH’s Beauty Division. We are 1000+ experts in 27 countries to build, support and operate solutions that provide innovation and business value to each LVMH Beauty Maisons such as Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, Loewe, Benefit, etc.

We provide new technical and innovative solutions, adapted to the challenges of our 16 Maisons, taking into consideration their specificities, while following a shared and mutualized model.

In order to support the fast-paced growth of the Beauty Division, we commenced a significant transformation that will contribute to accelerate our development, improve our time to market, leverage our scale and enhance our IT Tech components with the aim of innovation.

Profile

Reporting to the LVMH IT Governance Director and working closely with the Governance Strategy Lead, you are a key element in the implementation of the data governance strategy in the IT department, across multiple systems. As an expert in various fields (product, customer, finance, HR, supply chain, etc.), you will be the point of reference for leading the way in data management. You are in permanent contact with the Chief Data Officer of the Maison and the Beauty Division to help implement the Beauty Division's roadmap. You liaise with the Maison Data Stewards to ensure that standards, policies, and guidelines for your data area are understood and put into practice.

Your role as Data Governance IT Manager: 

  • Be responsible for the implementation of best practices within your data perimeter.
  • Translate strategic objectives into concrete reality on the different data perimeter, without forgetting to consider the cross-functional needs of the different Maison.
  • • Master the Data stakes on the different perimeters in close collaboration with the other Data Owners and Data Steward to ensure overall consistency in the decisions to be taken for the Division and the Maison.
  • Act as a point of reference for data domains on the IT to implement the decision coming from the Data Governance Lead at the Division.
  • Manage data quality and control activities.
  • Be responsible for the continuous improvement of data quality for the Maison in all the systems.
  • Work with other data owners to resolve dissonances between departments in line with the Beauty Division's strategy.
  • Establish a genuine "data culture" within your company at all levels (Central, Regional, Market) with Division support.
  • Enable your company's various departments and services to access this data.
