Job Description
To run the account in line with the contract requirements and standards agreed with Engie and the Client, ensuring compliance with KPIs and safety standards at all times.
The Account Director will have prime responsibility for the following areas in respect of all named Accounts:
Customer Relationship Management
New Business Development
Service Delivery Management
To lead the account team in line with the Engie core values, setting an example for all to follow.
The Account Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the account(s) services as detailed in the scope of works section of the contract(s) and will report to the WIZ Managed Services Director. In this capacity, the post holder is responsible for the service delivery on the entire international account portfolio, which will be measured by contractual Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
The Account Director is responsible for working directly with the Client to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and the implementation of acceptable specific operating strategies that achieve these required standards. Once developed, the Account Director must oversee the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the local Engie teams to achieve the goals.
The Account Director is responsible for representing WIZ in the local and regional business in order to promote WIZ’s reputation and capabilities to prospective Clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As Key Account Director EMEA, you will be more particularly responsible to:
Maintain role as primary contact for service requests generated by the Client. Proactively meet with Client’s local Management on scheduled basis. Communicate regularly with the Client’s Management, providing necessary support and information on the status of all areas under his management. Working as part of the Operations Senior Team responsible for organisational design, strategy setting, Client relationship building, business development and project management on his account(s).
Manage and guarantee contract commitments, performance and execution across account portfolio.
Lead, direct and motivate the Engie teams to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential.
Communicate, liaise and coordinate account service delivery in close interaction with county local operations teams.
Prepare Service reports for Clients at agreed frequencies.
Deal with Clients complaints and concerns accordingly and in due time.
Manage Client and Engie expectations and identify suitable solution to both sides.
Work with the Engie teams and Clients to prepare the yearly account budget and administer the works to ensure budget compliance.
Retention of Account. Recommend, justify, develop and coordinate with the Engie and Client team, projects and business opportunities that enhance the value of the Portfolio.
In conjunction with the local Engie teams manage the contract to ensure high quality and cost effective services.
Ensure that the contract document is reviewed and kept up to date as per service evolution
Ensure local companion agreements are completed and signed by local Engie entities and Client.
Carry out H&S audits and reports as per yearly audit program.
Participate in group wide bid processes as appropriate.
Develop a close working relationship with all Engie team members under his/her control to ensure that they fully understand the Client culture and are made to feel part of the team delivering a high quality service.
Regularly review the training and development needs of individuals. Carry out appraisals where appropriate.
Motivate and engage staff to work as a coordinated team to provide on going service delivery. Manage performance of the team and individuals taking necessary action to improve performance or impose sanction where necessary
Carry out regular Team Briefings and other communications to ensure consistent massages.
Ensure the right skills and resources are in place, undertaking recruitment as required in line with Engie processes.
Flexible and responsive to Client and business needs, to resolve emergencies as fast as possible in a professional way.
Assure compliance with contract documents, adopting and implementing recognised good practice.
Know, understand and set an example relative to the WIZ and Group policies.
Willing and able to travel as needed to achieve objectives

Experience and skills
At least 15 years experience working as an Account Director with large multi-sites FM contracts at national or international accounts.
Languages: Must be fluent in English. French is recommended. Spanish or German will be an advantage.
Financial skills
Excellent organisational skills required.
Strong interpersonal skills with experience leading multifunctional teams.
Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Interest in continuous improvement and development of new technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications:
Master Degree
BIFM qualified or equivalent, relevant work experience.
Recognised project management qualification or relevant, proven experience
Evidence of Leadership and Management Development.
