The position is within Kering Technology, the Kering department in charge of all the IT management for Kering and its Maisons.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Global Network Engineer to join our team.
Your opportunity
The Global Network Engineer will be integrated in the Global Infrastructure team, in charge of the studies, Proof of Concept and standards definitions for the group, representing more than 2000 sites across 50+ countries.
As part of the team, you will be a network expert, specialized in LAN and WAN infrastructure, with the goal to create and maintain a service catalogue and ensure constant market evolution of the technologies. You will be managing external contractors and partners as well as interacting with Kering regional teams.
How you will contribute
The role responsibilities and duties include:
Study new solutions to improve performance and management of Kering infrastructures
Lead or participate in the projects related to LAN/WAN/WiFi infrastructures, starting with the deployment of our new SD-WAN across the world, and assisting the group in his cloud journey
Manage Kering global and major contracts with the providers
Act as an interface for the company regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC), including the brands counterparts
Ensure the coordination with the operations, cloud DevOps and security teams
Act as an escalation and technology referent on major events
Create and maintain documentations relative to the perimeter
Who you are
For the position, you are required to have the following qualifications:
Computer Science / Information Technology degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years experience in network engineering positions
Good knowledge and experience in SD-WAN technology
Experience in Cloud-based LAN/WiFi technology, such as Meraki
Experience in Zscaler Cloud security solution (ZIA and ZPA) is a plus
Knowledge in monitoring tools
Have experience in managing external providers and contractors in the past
Very good level of English, both written and spoken
Capable of managing and supervise requests for proposal and large-scale projects
