Group OT Applications - Project Manager

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Group OT Applications Strategy and Communication

  • Implement the Group OT Applications strategy according to the Group OT Applications roadmap.

  • Liaise with the various IT OT and OT BA to maintain an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact and to ensure a common language between OT Group Applications and the other Imerys systems.

  • Collaborate with end users to understand administrative needs, resolve issues and meet business requirements.

  • Systems & Process

  • Contribute to business process, data and application optimization.

  • Contribute to OT Group application projects and application management activities

  • Control compliance between application standards with global guidelines & transversal activities

  • Plan and schedule Group OT Application Teams DRP tests participation for the application portfolio in conjunction with the respective business stakeholders and IT infrastructure teams.

  • Oversee procedures, policies, and technical requirements created by the Application and system administrators.

  • Ensure applications are compliant with the internal audit requirements and accordingly monitor the implementation of the necessary adjustments.

  • Contribute to establish standards, best practices and frameworks to attain short and long term goals and vision.

  •

  • Ensure project management and initiatives progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk.

  • Focus on business value rather than solutions to develop ideas, including digital awareness, risk assessments, business continuity, and business capability requirements.

  • Be creative and innovative with regards to your knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs.

  • Ensure convergence and strategic partnering with the OT team and BA(s)/Functions(s) teams.

  • Support all IT teams to ensure proper support for the BA(s)/Functions(s) day-to-day operations

  • Support suppliers and subcontractors' relationship with the help of other functions (Purchasing, Legal)

  •  

    Budget Management and Execution

  • Own the OT functional operating and project/program budget, and perform accurate budgeting and forecasting across operations and projects or programs under your area of responsibility.

  • Partner with the project/program/portfolio management organization (OT PMO) to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio..

  • Measure and communicate business value realized with the business partner on a periodic basis.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

     

    Education and Experience requirements

     

    Essential

  • 4 years' higher education – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering field .

  • 5+ years of functional experience in IT or OT

  • 5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects

  • Extensive experience implementing, migrating, operating systems/applications and local industrial automation systems: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong business knowledge in Industrial environment

  • Have a good working knowledge and understanding of application architecture

  • Fluent English

  • Familiar with:

    Environmental regulations and policies...

    IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity principles in Industrial and IT Networks.

    Industry 3.0, Industrial IT architecture & technologies

    SCADA / MES / Historian / CMMS / LAB systems

    Industry 4.0 technologies such as IIOT, Big Data analysis/cloud computing, augmented reality, simulation and robotics

    Business systems such as ERP and their interaction with industrial networks.

    PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS 

  • The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. 

  • Domestic and international travel may require physical effort associated with luggage and professional computer transportation. Hours can be extensive as well due to travel.

  • Travel as required: Up to 15%

  • Plant environments may be dusty and prone to airborn minerals.

  • Job requirements may correspond with reduced mobility situations.
