The Angers site is part of the Visibility Systems Division (VIS). It develops high-performance and innovative lighting systems that support the driver and passengers in all weather conditions, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.

The development center in Angers (ADC) is looking for its new Electronic System Engineer M/F for the lighting operations in Europe.

Your challenges:

  • In support of the Architect for the product definition, a product line or a customer at the Electronics business level.

  • For the Electronic System sub-assembly, support the response to customer bids during the definition of the technical solution and the development effort

  • Identify and understand the explicit and implicit requirements for the product

  • Propose and evaluate electronic architecture concepts that meet the requirements, while promoting the reuse of available product platforms

  • Formalize the respect of customer requirements in compliance matrices

  • Carry out the functional analysis of the product

  • Write product specifications, requirements management and traceability at the level of the Electronics business

  • Participate in the detailed design of the product architecture

    • Definition of the functional architecture

    • Specifications (static, dynamic) of functions

    • Allocation of functions on the physical architecture

    • Definition and specification of interfaces between components

    • Specification of system component requirements and traceability to product requirements

  • Analyze the electronic impacts on the architecture, performances... of the modifications during the development

  • Respect the ASPICE development process (mainly SYS 2 and SYS 3)

  • Contribute to the definition of standards and best practices in the electronic system network

  • Perform design reviews according to VALEO standards

  • Carry out a technology watch for a product line or a customer, anticipate the development needs of the platforms

  • Apply, communicate and ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety and Security procedures and best practices

About you:

With an Engineering degree or a Master's degree, you have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of product design and you master the methods of systems engineering, preferably in the automotive sector

During these years, you have developed multidisciplinary skills allowing you to evolve in a multi-field context (mechanics, optics, electronics), you are at ease in communication and able to develop relationships with the customer.

Recognized for your rigor, your interpersonal skills and your autonomy, you have evolved in an international environment which allows you to master English fluently.
