Team Organization The cybersecurity team includes chapter-based cyber topics all linked together to find the best way to fix security weaknesses (we are under perpetual red team attacks, audit reviews and compliance assessments to sharpen our radar). Our goal is to find innovative solutions to solve IT security issues, adapted to our core businesses (flash sales, marketplaces, dropshipping, etc.).Above all of that, our main purpose is automation: we have extensive usage of scripting languages and DevSecOps technologies. Moreover, our code is open and shared with the community in order to help others and get feedback.
TASKS
As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of the Veepees Information Systems and Data on a day-to-day basis. You will work in the IT Security team and with other VeepeeTech teams to identify and remediate technical and organizational weaknesses, risks and vulnerabilities.
Work closely with the VeepeeTech department to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organizations operations. Proactively audit and search for undetected threats within the organizations IT environment, develop and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Build and spread security hardening measures across IT infrastructure to minimize threats and protect against attacks.
Actively participate in purple team exercises, combining efforts of both red and blue teams to enhance cybersecurity through collaborative attack and defense mechanisms optimization. This includes being part of cyberwatch activities and conducting offensive testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats.

MUST HAVE skills
The most important thing is motivation! Enthusiastic, motivated and naturally curious profiles who want to learn and improve the IT security maturity of veepee;
Experience with IT audits, incident response and vulnerability management;
Infrastructure, architecture, and Dev(Sec)Ops skills;
Proficiency in coding and scripting languages relevant to security automation (, Python, Bash, PowerShell);
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and the integration of security tools within them;
Understanding of on-premise and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security best practices;
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and how to secure them;
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (, Terraform, Ansible) for managing and securing infrastructure;
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
Certification in cybersecurity or DevOps (, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or DevOps-related certifications) is a plus.
