Job description:

We are looking to strengthen our Global Data Team by adding a skilled Business Analyst specializing in Data, Analytics and AI. This role, reporting directly to the Data Product Owner, is crucial for translating the needs of business teams—including microbiology and chemical laboratories, expert partners, sales & marketing, and customer care—into actionable projects focused on AI solutions and analytics.

Responsibilities :

  • Collect requirements from both global and local business teams concerning analytics and AI.
  • Be adept at problem solving, translate business needs into user stories to guide development in our Data Factory and Data Lab.
  • Ensure that developments align with business requirements and perform pre-production testing.
  • Collaborate with the Data Product Owner to prioritize development tasks.
  • Maintain the portfolio of AI and analytics projects, monitoring their progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Interface with a diverse group of stakeholders, including local business teams across 27 countries, Data Factory staff, Data Scientists within the team, and other local teams across the group.
  • YOUR PROFILE

    Required/Preferred skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Sciences (, Microbiology, Chemistry)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on data/business analytics
  • Strong analytical skills including data visualization and use of reporting & analysis tools such as Tableau or Quicksight.
  • Keen understanding of data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French and a third language would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional relational skills, as the role requires interaction with a diverse set of internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • We work a hybrid work model that includes 3 days of on-site work per week.
