CDI Senior Project Manager Special Projects - Architecture (F/M)

Within the Architecture Department of Christian Dior Couture and reporting to the Director of Special Projects, we are recruiting a Senior Project Manager Special Projects.

You ensure the development of the Christian Dior Couture special projects network while respecting the brand's image and its architectural concept through renovation of luxury/hi-end large-scale projects (Retail/non-Retail) with a view to optimizing space, time, and costs.

Missions:

  • Supervise and manage the entire process of the project, from due diligence to layout definition, from construction start to final delivery.
  • Responsible of the budget, the time schedule, and the quality of the works.
  • Support the Special Projects Director in dealing with external consultants such as local executing Architects, Concept Design Architects as well as all Contractors involved in construction process until the project is delivered.
  • Work closely with all other Departments within the Company, in the case of a non-Retail building.
  • Establish contact with landlords’ architectural team, to get location drawings, guidelines and all other necessary technical start-up information.
  • Rely and challenge the local architect who is the main technical resource in terms of complying with all the norms and of finalizing the project.
  • For each zone, identify and manage the external consultants and local architects according to the methodology/administration/legal procedure of each specific country.
  • Develop projects crafting volumes and studying spaces to ensure best architectural approach on macro and micro scale.
  • Produce reference documents for every step of the design phase of the project until completion: zoning, plans, sketches, elevations, interior order list. Produce a design package after project is approved.
  • Correct the execution drawings. Ensure concept and guidelines are fully respected.
  • Ensure the quality of finishes and compliance with the approved drawing.

    • Profil

    A university graduate with a degree in Architecture, Engineering or Project Management.

    Experience of at least 8 years in Retail Architecture, construction, site management, project development.

    You have already worked in fit out works environment for example in General Contractor or Millworker side or directly in the Client side.

    Good sense of detail and, ideally, know the expectations of the luxury/high end projects (retail, hospitality, residential, etc.…).

    Experience or interest for safe, green, and sustainable building.

    Engineering knowledge to understand how a building technically works and you feel comfortable to deal with the technical consultants and different contractors.

    Good understanding of building administration regulations.

    You are trained to evaluate risks and make decisions.

    Fluent level of English and French
    Motivated by the challenge of completing projects on time and on budget.

    You can propose solutions and have a proactive approach of problems.

    You are a team player person with integrity willing to make his/her the internal code of conduct.

    Perfect command of the Office Pack, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup.

    Willing to travel for at least 30% of the time.
