Join Our Team as Associate

At Standard Chartered Bank we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in the financial industry. We are currently seeking a meticulous Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing our governance, oversight, and controls.

Location: France, Paris

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Group's governance arrangements and facilitate necessary improvements.

- Maintain a deep understanding of the regulatory framework and requirements relevant to our operations.

- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including Relationship and Client Managers, Risk Teams, Product Partners, Credit Policy, and Clients.

- Assist CA Team Leaders and team members with ad hoc projects as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate:

-Education: A strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, or accounting from an accredited university (minimum or equivalent).

-Experience:Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role or at a rating agency.

-Knowledge:Profound understanding of accounting and financial principles, with the ability to interpret a bank’s balance sheet and income statement. In-depth knowledge of the macroeconomic and regulatory landscape in Europe.

-Skills:Expertise in Excel and Word to effectively analyze data and present findings.

Strong analytical skills, particularly in the assessment and calibration of FI credit risk.

-Languages:Fluency in both English and French , enabling seamless communication in our diverse environment.
