Context:
The Project Operations Business Division is in charge of producing process design packages, proprietary and automation equipment, modular units and process furnaces, on technologies linked to the energy transition, gas and licensing treatment technologies, including related low carbon solutions (blue Hydrogen, carbon capture..) and potentially equipment/packages. Its objective is to ensure quality projects, respecting costs and schedules and preserving the safety of all.
Missions:
As Supplier Qualification Project Manager in the BD POP Project Operations department, your role will be to support and develop Axens' equipment recommendation activity. You will work alongside an experienced colleague and collaborate closely with him.
You will be responsible for identifying new products and suppliers, assessing commercial interest and technical potential, and establishing framework agreements with selected suppliers. In addition, you will build strong relationships with these suppliers to ensure the successful execution of recommendation contracts.
You will have the opportunity to work with process partners and technologists from other Axens entities across various product lines. As part of our team, your contributions will be valuable in sharing multidisciplinary technical knowledge and leveraging your experience to enhance Axens' recommendation activity.
Your main tasks will be as follows:
·Maintain and strengthen existing relationships
·Manage technical, contractual, and commercial relations with recommended companies
·Consolidate monitoring of recommended companies
·Manage and validate financial returns related to product recommendations
·Develop the activity by researching and proposing new products to recommend
·Expand the panel of recommended suppliers and proceed with their qualification
·Update and manage quality system documentation related to the recommendation activity.
·Monitor activities related to the recommended equipment with other Business Divisions or Business Partners, particularly with BD Project Operation, BP Purchasing, BD Finance, BD Legal, and also with other Axens entities worldwide.
Knowledge and Required Level:
·Confirmed engineer with a generalist background and several years of experience in the Oil & Gas refining sector, Petrochemicals, and/or new energy technologies.
·Experience working closely or in relation with the detail engineering domain.
·Extensive knowledge of international companies in the equipment sector used in engineering and technology.
·Multidisciplinary technical knowledge of industrial equipment (Pumps/Compressors, materials, valves, heat exchangers, reactor internals, etc.).
·Fluent in French and English, with the ability to work in a team in a multicultural environment
·Knowledge of contract establishment rules, quality assurance principles related to the activity.
