Strategy Analyst, AXA DCP

AXA’s Management Committee is driving a unique strategic initiative - Digital Commercial Platform (DCP) – designed to transform AXA’s value proposition. Through DCP, AXA will serve existing and new clients and partners through an evolving business model, where the focus is on risk prediction, prevention and management.

AXA DCP relies on creating a platform of AXA’s risk insights, risk management, and risk prevention capabilities to enhance and support our service offering to commercial clients and third parties. End users will be able to access a broad selection of data built on existing or developing AXA assets. The platform will also create value by monetizing unique capabilities and services for our customers, aggregating, and delivering insights from unique data sets with external partners, and fostering end-customer relationships in alignment with brokers.

AXA DCP aims to:

·Improve our underwriting pricing and claims capabilities across the commercial lines book of business of AXA Group

·Create a platform for risk management and prevention services

·Build an ecosystem of business partners

The Strategy Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic initiatives of AXA DCP. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy & Chief of Staff to CEO, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

Strategic Analysis & Business Intelligence:

·Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.

·Analyze industry landscapes to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making.

·Gather, analyze, and interpret data to create actionable insights that drive business growth.

·Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) with the Finance Office to ensure alignment with the entity’s strategic ambition

Internal and External Stakeholder Engagement:

·Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and contribute to the development of strategic plans.

·Engage with external clients and partners to gather insights and feedback, fostering strong relationships.

·Assist the Head of Strategy & Chief of Staff to CEO in the coordination of strategic project & initiatives

Strategic Planning Support:

·Assist in the development of long-term and short-term strategic plans.

·Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.

Communication and Presentation:

·Prepare and present clear and concise reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management

·Contribute to the development of materials for executive meetings and board presentations

·Contribute to the Public Relation & Institutional Communication workstream – drafting of press releases & talking points, alignment of the vision and the messaging, etc.

SHARE your talent

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

·Master’s degree in management from a “Grandes Ecoles” institution

·Minimum of 5 years of experience in Consulting, with a focus on strategy and business analysis.

·Proven track record of conducting in-depth market research and competitive analysis.

·Super-user with Microsoft Office with emphasis on sophisticated PowerPoint, Word & Excel skills

·Proven quantitative and analytical skills

·Influential Collaborator: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders. Provide guidance and seek input from others as needed to achieve the best result possible.

·Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, presentation and influencing skills are essential. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of sophistication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently juggle numerous concurrent responsibilities.

·Manage Ambiguity: Handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, mixes long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands.

·Results Oriented: A keen ability to execute and deliver results. Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs. Think quickly and have the flexibility to (re-)prioritise multiple work streams/ projects/ tasks without sacrificing quality. Act with a sense of urgency. Understands and has some experience in project management.

·Continuous Improvement Focused: Willing to ask questions and explore new ideas. Eager to learn and focused on continuously improving technical skills.

·Motivated, determined and trustworthy: The candidate must be a reliable self-starter, who is happy to take on multiple responsibilities, and be accountable for the successful completion of projects. They must be discreet and trustworthy

·Fluency in English and French
