Stage – Corporate Credit Analyst (F/H

The head office of AXA Group (GIE AXA) main missions are to:

  • Steer the AXA entities in order to ensure the coherence of the strategies, the consistency of the commercial approaches as well as the optimization of the risks and results;
  • Defining and coordinating Group policies, different transversal projects and standards, identifying and sharing best practices; 
  • Supporting the entities to help them to grow, to develop their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their risk management. 
  • The head office of AXA Group (GIE AXA), based in La Défense Majunga, gathers the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates and steers the various entities according to the Group's strategy and is responsible for managing international projects. The headquarters is composed with over 850 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities).

    Management Presentation :

    The Alternative and Credit Team “ACT” is part of the Finance and Investment division that oversees and steers AXA Group’s investments. The main objective for the team is to define and ensure the proper deployment of AXA Group’s Investments while maintaining the resilience of AXA Group’s balance sheet.

    Main purpose :

    The intern will gather financial and economic data related to corporates, will analyze the financial statements and company profile relative to its industry and competitors, will contribute to the write-up of the credit assessment. The focus will be on corporates operating in Emerging Markets (“EM”). The intern will report to the EM Senior Credit Analyst. The intern will work closely among other team members of Fixed Income Strategy and Emerging Markets within Group Investments and ALM division of AXA.

    Core activities :

    The main tasks for the internship:

  • Gathering and analyzing financial data and corporate information of EM corporates
  • Contributing to the credit analysis for EM corporate
  • Gathering and analyzing economic and financial data from various sources (Central Banks, OECD, BIS, Bloomberg, etc…)
  • Your Profile

    Technical and professional skills :

  • Corporate Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • Proficiency in IT tools (notably excel)
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and ability to code in VBA is a plus
  • Communication skills :

  • English fluency required (spoken and written); other language(s) or and French a plus
  • Experience :

  • Graduate Program from Business Schools or Finance / Economic master’s degrees from Universities
