Working closely with the Head of indirect spend and Site Head of Elbeuf, performance delivered by the procurement department will have a direct impact on the profitability and sustainability of the company.

The site procurement manager will be a key part of the site leadership team and will be a key interface to consider internal business requirements as well as a strong relay to implement procurement strategies, also lead some global procurement projects across the group.

In this position, the person will contribute to the strategic and operational sourcing activities, which will impact the (~50 M€ spend):

  • Be responsible for managing indirect purchasing needs on site coordinating with the global raw material buyers
  • Strategic activities:Participate to the definition and implementation of sourcing strategiesDevelop and implement robust internal Business Partnerships with engagement plans &Lead Stakeholders management to ensure business needs are properly and timely metNegotiate and optimize contracts to generate savings and monitor supplier’s performanceManage the Supplier Relationship Management process with the key strategic and preferred partnersDevelop, enhance, and monitor supplier relationship performance through regular supplier business and performance reviews
  • Operational activities:Source-to-ContractEnsure the operational sourcing & action plan follow up for his/her procurement activitiesLead RFx processes, negotiations and support contract development with global suppliersPartner closely with Legal, Compliance, Internal Control and Finance teams towards successful completion of complex global scale negotiations
  • Demand ManagementElaboration of a demand plan aligned with the Business and category strategiesBuild a solid project and savings pipeline during budget cycle and maintain it throughout the yearConstructively challenge the demand and shape it in a way that would deliver the most value for our businesses
  • +5 years’ experience in procurement (Indirects, Category Management, etc.)
  • Proven experience of building solid partnerships with external service providers
  • Proficient in French and English (Business Level), other language appreciated
  • Strong process knowledge with ability to improve processes to support Business needs
  • Good understanding of finance, business, operations, and legal aspects including service level agreements, KPIs’, fixed price agreement
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented
  • Assertive, high-level communicator, good organizational skills, excellent presentation skills
  • Experienced and confident in managing complex and undefined business situations
  • 6 weeks of “CP” (congés payés)
