Senior Tax Analyst - France SME

What You’ll Do Are you looking for your next challenge and want to join a rapidly growing, innovative, dynamic international company? We are looking for an experienced French SME to join our Program Compliance Team. Based in France, you will join a team of international SMEs and you will support teams across EMEA and India. You will be responsible for all FR submissions and you will be the point of contact for both internal and external queries relating to France as well as other jurisdictions’ VAT matters when required. With strong technical knowledge, you will be committed to continuous improvement in our processes and product development, ensuring collaboration with the GRS functional teams (P,C&CI, Innov8 and L&D) whilst building strong and collaborative relationships with all filing teams both in Brighton and Pune. You will have experience of working within a complex environment and be able to prioritise and deliver a programme of work to deadlines. Working on complex client VAT issues. Co-ordinating FR VAT submissions Working with Tax Technology, Innovate, Product & Engineering Teams on automation projects Supporting with clients’ submissions and escalations when required Liaising with external stakeholders to ensure a smooth customer journey Managing clients in various jurisdictions Building trusted client relationships Ensuring all submissions are completed on-time and accurately in the France (and other jurisdictions if required) Managing communication with French and other Tax Authorities on VAT matters. Acting as a mentor and providing VAT training for the team. Assisting with research for Technical & QA Teams of Country compliance laws and practices. What You'll Need to be Successful Proven experience on French Tax Matters Excellent written and oral communication skills Teamwork-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Attention to detail, with a drive to continuously improve. Results-oriented, highly organized, motivated and driven to succeed. Able to work under pressure. Minimum 5 years' Tax experience and a relevant bachelor's degree.
