MISSION
• Drive qualification of product and process on a project to reach customer & PO targets of quality, reliability & robustness.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible of quality tasks for one or several projects
• Coordinate quality related tasks of projects
• Non conformity management on projects
• Ensure the limitation of risks
• Guarantees application of methodologies and tools
• Knows IATF16949 and ISO9001, with the impact on his function

ACTIVITIES
Activity 1 : Coordinate quality related tasks of a project 
• Ensure reliability, safety, compliance to norms & regulations – ensure good deployment of quality targets and project objectives internally and at the suppliers 
• Know and apply customer requirement on his project (CSR/ Customer Specific Requirements, special customer characteristic, customer standard, customer portal)
• Maintain permanent and direct contact with customer quality representatives
• Coordinate quality extended team for the project and support plant quality team according INPRO and INCHANGE rules (or project team for innovation transfer) until launch up to 6 months after SOP or upon program manager request during phase 7 (or until end of INPRO R transfer phase) with participation in PO and suppliers’ facilities to the trials 
• Ensure that project related quality deliverables are in line with budget and timing 
• Define test and measurement device and control plan linked to FMEA s
• Coordinate with plant quality the preparation and submission of PPAP parts – Prepare PPAP submission to obtain approval.
• Or, in case of innovation transfer, provide quality documentation coming from research department required by project team

Activity 2 : Non conformity management on projects
• Issue non conformity documentation (including deviation waiver) for parts delivered to internal and external customer (8D form or customer form) 
• Analyze prototype or pre-series quality with respective initialization of necessary corrective actions (tolerances, dimensions, production process etc.)
• Manage claims issues including negotiation with customer
• Lead problem solving analysis, track corrective actions and finalize activities by a lesson learned

Activity 3 : Ensure the limitation of risks
• Understand, identify and alert quality risks and deviations within the scope of the project. Has the responsibility and authority to stop production or development program in the event of unchangeable violation and quality risk.
• Verify that project deliverables respect the process and comply with best practices
• Conduct audits, when appropriate, support the building of action plan and check the application
• Applied, deployed, SDF activities on projects if requested by OEM.

Activity 4 : Guarantees application of methodologies and tools
• Deploy & support use of quality management tools in agreement with PO processes and procedures
• Train project team to appropriate quality tools 
• Check that required actions & documentations from customer APQP are implemented on time 
• Report on conformity with INPro methodologies and unchangeable 
• Assess the performance of quality engineering activities through process indicators and improve processes by continuous improvement
• Propose & improve quality management tools, including procedures and instructions
