Project Engineer (F/M/X)

Contract : permanent
This role is responsible for fundamental execution activities of project with a direct report line to the Global Project Manager in Region and supported by Global Technical Leaders during overall project timeline. The Project Engineer works closely with all factory departments.
The Project Engineer is in charge to manage first and foremost projects in this original factory. She/he should manage or support projects in other regional factories in particular if large projects on this original factory is not enough to commit project manager full time.
The Project Engineer ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the required quality standard.
She/he is responsible for deploying his/her engineering know-how to successfully support the execution of projects to the business that deliver a sustained technical competitive advantage. She/he is responsible for managing the work of partners, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.
This role requires strong communication, functional/technical and project management skills in order to deliver success of projects in safely, timely and efficient manner.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a comparable technical position
Basic understanding of engineering principals
Ability to travel depending on project demands
Project management experience
Team skills performance
Presentation & Communication Skills
Project Planning, Phasing & Prioritization
Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English and in French
Strong understanding of processes

Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan
Develop project cost estimates with a high degree of accuracy and rapidness
Develop accurate and achievable project schedules
Lead the planning and execution validation activities
Ensure delivery of quality work
Develop resources that support excellence in execution and leadership, including effective communications and establishing clear accountability with the project team, contractors and vendors
Organize any necessary meetings to progress team work (weekly, daily, or ad-hoc as appropriate)
Monitor progress and manage risks to and recovery of any schedule slippages
Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
Coordinate partners activities
Ensure partners respect Safety
Job holder has responsibilities for managing training vendors and contractors on site including ensuring the availability of quality and safety training programs
Lead Partners for the overall coordination, implementation and financial management of the project
Coordinate the start, implementation and closure of projects.
Monitor partners’ performance.
Manage CVS activities and resources
Responsible of HO 0 (dry & wet commissioning)
Support all CVS activities including validation and start-up.
