Product Development Engineer
The ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Vitry team, part of ArcelorMittal Tubular Products division is looking for a Product Development Engineer (M/F), to support the development and growth of our business .
This position is responsible for:
- Designing and developing products from customer specifications or Sales / Engineering Departments requests.
- Managing projects for product development until the serial production phase.
- Managing and/or participating in internal development or R&D projects.
The position is based in Vitry-le-François, France. As Product Development Engineer, your main responsibilities & missions will be:
- Design and develop a product or product family according to internal development plan.
- Manage CAD and FEA for activities relevant to his projects.
- Establish and manage validation plan.
- Manage customer interface (technical / project).
- Manage project from technical and economical standpoint.
- Organize internal/external meetings and involve all plant departments.
- Insure reporting to N+1 and Management Committee.
- Support Sales team.
Skills & Background required:
- Mechanical engineer or similar and 5 or more years of experience are required.
- Capacity/experience in project management
- Must be familiar with automotive industry standards.
- Skills in Finite Elements Analysis is a plus.
- High ability to manage working teams.
- Autonomous and rigorous.
- French (as native), English (advanced), other language is a plus.
