MAIN MISSIONS
The Performance Methods and Expertise engineer is responsible for various activities aimed at guaranteeing optimum performance in the engineering field. These activities include coordinating CAPEX work packages, coordinating and communicating performance and KPIs (PCS4), managing PBI reporting, preparing, and communicating annual reviews, coordinating BPM awards and challenges, controlling systems, including BPM audits, and ensuring compliance with project standards, including AS-Build. As well as the digital transformation of engineering, the formalization and analysis of requirements, and the administration of project and portfolio databases.
As part of the Operations/Engineering Department to which he/she belongs, he/she will, for example:
Lead and supervise the CAPEX work packages, which involves coordinating the various activities aimed at optimizing the company's capital investments (CAPEX). He/she is responsible for ensuring that these activities are carried out efficiently and in line with set objectives.
Be responsible for performance communication, which involves disseminating information on key engineering performance within the company. This may include reporting, organizing meetings and creating communication materials.
Be responsible of the production of PBI reports that measure and monitor the performance of engineering activities. These reports are essential for evaluating the effectiveness of engineering processes and projects.
Be responsible for drawing up the annual Engineering Performance Review, which provides a comprehensive overview of achievements, challenges and objectives for the past year. This review is a key element in assessing overall engineering performance.
Monitor engineering systems to ensure their proper functioning, efficiency and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Be involved in the organization of BPM Awards and challenges aimed at rewarding engineering excellence and innovation. This includes managing the application process and organizing events.
Conduct BPM (Bel Project Management) audits to assess and improve project management andensure compliance with project standards to maintain the quality and consistency of engineering activities.
Be responsible for the PCS4 (Performance Control System), which is a performance control system, as well as KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) to measure and evaluate the performance of engineering activities.
Responsible for the management of electronic assets after projectcompletion (AS-Build). This includes documenting, maintaining, and managing data relating to assets created or modified during the project.
Participate in Engineering's digital transformation and in the formalization and analysis of engineering needs to ensure that projects and processes meet stakeholder requirements and expectations.
Ensure the administration of project and engineering portfolio databases, which involves the collection, storage, management, and analysis of data related to projects and engineering activities.
EXPECTED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Analysis and Project Management: Ability to effectively analyze, plan and manage engineering projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, resources and objectives.
Analytical Aspect and Financial Control: Ability to conduct in-depth analyses, evaluate financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure strict financial control.
Communication and Reporting: Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally, produce clear reports and present key engineering performance.
Electronic Asset Management (As-build): Mastery of electronic asset management processes after project completion, including documentation, maintenance, and asset data management.
Digital Transformation: Understanding of the challenges of digital transformation in engineering, and ability to formalize functional requirements on the business side and pass them on to the development team.
PROFILE
Trained as an engineer or in a related field, you have 1 to 2 years' experience in engineering/industrial performance and project management, ideally in the agri-food sector. You have worked in an international environment and are fluent in both spoken and written English.
You are rigorous and methodical, with a solid written culture.
You are accustomed to working in an international industrial environment, in collaboration with several business lines (IS/IT, Industrial Performance, Purchasing, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, etc.).
You are familiar with project management tools and engineering-specific information systems (SAP, Power BI).
You have Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification.
