At Vestas, our leitmotiv is Safety First! The Operational Support's goal is to give as many advice and alerts as needed in order to proceed to the different tasks in the best security conditions.
Our Operations Support Team has a great experience in the field, most of them come from our Service Technician teams, and their goal is to assist the teams finding and solving complex breakdowns.
This team also contributes to our Construction Teams and Client Support team with complex technical issues in order to support them in all their missions (technical arguments, problem solving, creation of quotes...)
Responsibilities
Contribute on the development of tools to Continuously monitor the configurations of Wind Sector Management, Noise Regulation, Bat protection and other similar services, that we call Customer "Optional's";
Create a database and tools (to be aligned and agreed with VPS) in order to map all the options requested by customers. Latest updates, history, customer approvals...
Request SCADA team or Operations to correct any deviation found, by using Sales Force or ticketing system;
Be accountable for correct implementation and performance of Optional's;
Understand customer needs, and ability to work with the commercial team on the current products and future needs.
Ability to explain the solutions internally and externally, and with good presentation and communication skills. Must increase internal knowledge of the company in these products.
Act as "anchor" for Optional's:
Be the main point of contact from operations.
Be the main point of contact towards group and VPS;
Scope and develop together with VPS and Eng. team automated monitoring of optional's by utilizing existing tools (like MUC, Power BI among others).
Qualifications
Master or bachelor degree in relevant area i.e. electrical or mechanical or marine engineering or data/statistics
Good technical background, with experience in data analytics, statistical analysis,
Experience in an industrial environment will be an advantage
Good English skills, both written and spoken
Full proficiency in the use of computers and the Pack Office
