- years experience in IBM Planning Analytics because you will be completing complex technical designs, with an interest in acquiring additional technical skills (e.g. Anaplan)
Previous knowledge of the Controlling domain and an interest in acquiring more knowledge in this area as our business partners demand a high level of functional understanding
Ability to prioritise effectively because there will be many topics in parallel
Strong teamwork skills as collaboration is the foundation of our ways of working
Robust communication skills because you will be at the heart of IT/business interactions
Capacity to assume responsibility for your work and complete timely escalations as the team works in an empowerment model
Nice to have skills:
Experience in Agile projects (SCRUM,…)
Previous experience with financial processes (preparation of actuals, budgets and forecasts)
Understanding of Cognos Analytics & Planning Analytics Workspace technologies
Understanding of Anaplan or other EPM technologies
Understanding of IT architecture concepts (APIs,…)
In this role, this could be your next day-to-day:
Within the Beauty Tech organization, the Finance Planning Analytics team is part of the Finance IT department, dedicated to providing group solutions for the Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Legal, and the Supply and R&I Finance businesses. We are a dynamic and motivated team of around internal & external people.
Our team currently supports solutions using the IBM technologies Planning Analytics & Cognos Analytics :
Compass Supply Chain: allocation of logistics platform costs
FRB and ROCC: calculation of royalties rates and invoicing of fees
We work closely with our businesses to respond to changing technology and user needs.
Empowered, forward-thinking and capable, our multicultural team focuses on developing skills across technologies and working closely together and with our business partners to provide quality solutions.
The members of our team are technico-functional experts in budgeting and reporting tools and interact with other IT tools and components (group budgeting, ERPs, Data Platform, integration & infrastructure…).
Other teams within the Finance IT Department are working on application implementations using the Anaplan technology and use cases in the Google Cloud Platform, so there will be scope for this role to become multi-technology going forward.
Your role:
You will be a key player in our strategy to liaise with our business partners to understand functional requirements and ensuring best-practice technical solutions are implemented.
You will have the opportunity to participate in the project and run activities of our diverse budgeting and simulation applications.
You will keep abreast of the latest technological developments in these technologies, and assist in the selection of the proposed solutions for new projects.
What will be your mail challenges:
Engaging with our business partners in Finance and Opérations to understand functional requirements & analyse technical impacts.
Promoting the technical coherence of multiple applications across SaaS and on-premise technologies through technical best-practices and harmonized Build and Run processes.
Working with project and run teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
