The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in their work. This role will involve managing the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring a smooth transition into and out of the organisation. Additionally, the IT Engineer will be in charge of overseeing video conferencing tools within our Paris office and providing technical support across all company sites.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Provide first and second-level IT support to internal employees, resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take ownership of the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring that new hires have the necessary equipment and access to company systems, and departing employees are offboarded securely.
  • Manage and maintain video conferencing tools within the Berlin office, including setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing support, especially during events.
  • Collaborate with IT teams across different sites to ensure consistency and alignment in IT processes and procedures.
  • Utilise technical expertise to support and optimise various systems and platforms, including but not limited to Okta, Google Workspace, and Jira.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to IT infrastructure and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity - and ensure reliability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders as needed to implement new tools, or correct usual ones
  • Implement security measures to protect company data in collaboration with the security team
  • Align with the departments budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, recommending innovative solutions to meet company needs.
  • About you ‍

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and platforms
  • Hands-on experience with video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A team player with a strong aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Flexibility to support IT operations across multiple sites.
  • Full fluency in French and English (additional languages are a plus).
