Could you be the full-time Group Accounting standard analyst in Saint-Ouen we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Audit, IFRS and French accounting standards expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Boris Damon(Accounting & ESG Standards Director, Saint-Ouen), and work alongside high-skilled, versatile and dynamic teammates.
You will participate to the definition and production of Alstom’s group accounting policies by following the evolution of the IFRS standards, implementing the new IFRS standards to the Alstom world as well as providing support and solutions to the business on all subjects relating to Accounting policies.
You'll be the guardian of the rules. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business as the support of the business (Provide technical accounting guidance and respond to accounting consultations from other Alstom departments, Provide technical support to the Consolidation department in the preparation of position papers on specific accounting subjects and in the Production of Financial Disclosures), you’ll also be the finance community developer and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of Providing support to other HQ departments and to Regions/Countries for accounting complex topics or non-routine transactions: control and consolidation assessment as well as JVs and partnerships, Merger & Acquisitions accounting, Financing, but also Contribute to and deliver the internal IFRS trainings in support to Alstom Finance Academy.
We’ll look to you for:
Develop your accounting expertise on IFRS standards, Follow up the evolution of the accounting standards (IFRS & French) and anticipate their impacts for Alstom, Prepare and support the deployment of new accounting standards in the Alstom’s group
Contribute to the “Reporting and Accounting Manual (RAM)” updates, the Alstom accounting book defining the accounting policies
Support community networks on accounting topics
Provide guidance and support to the Consolidation department on the ESG Reporting

Degree in Accounting, finance, economics, business administration or equivalent combination of training
Strong expertise knowledge on IFRS and French accounting standards
fluent in English and French (Verbal and written)
Expertise in international auditor consolidation and accounting standards
Communication skills (in English) to deliver presentation to company’s executives, position papers to the external auditors, trainings to the Alstom’s Finance community
Proactive and can work autonomously, while managing priorities.
Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple sites, corporate functions and with external third parties.
Solution-oriented analyst who knows how to influence multiple projects while guiding and providing critical feedback to colleagues.
Quick in execution while being open to dialogue and listening.
