Finance and Tax Analyst (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance and Tax Analyst to join the Corporate Tax team in Paris, France. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing organization that has career opportunities for high potential performers. In this role you will focus on different aspects of finance and tax which require a good understanding of international tax and financial operations. 

You will work closely with different teams in France, but also EMEA, APAC and the US. You will need a strong sense of personal accountability and be able to take initiative to solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer pricing: (i) coordinate of data collection with internal finance teams, (ii)review the transfer pricing computations prepared by regional teams , (iii) prepare the documentation in cooperation with external advisors,
  • French financial statements and complianceManage relationship with auditors, financial data collection and preparation of the annual report and entity P&L forecast. Coordinate with internal Engineering team, Finance teams and external advisors to prepare the French IP Box and French R&D tax creditWork with the external advisors on the preparation of the income tax return and local tax filings
  • Manage financial budget for tax consulting fees: relationship with external advisors, monthly budget variance analysis
  • Group reporting: manage quarterly tax packages on a regional scope, maintain tax filing calendars, prepare monthly account reconciliation for balance sheet reviews
  • Governance: manage cash repatriations in partnership with the group Company Secretary and in accordance with the group transfer pricing policy and legal entity compliance (e.g. Board meeting, financial profitability)
  • Monitor international tax law updates
  • Support the business on tax-related matters (Sales, Commercial Legal, Invoicing teams)
  • Perform ad hoc analyses upon request
  • Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant Educational background
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance or Tax
  • Good level in French and English
  • Numeracy skills: the ability to use, interpret and communicate mathematical information to solve real-world problems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines
  • Be able to perform complex financial analysis and reconciliations
  • Microsoft Office suite, Oracle or any other ERP system would be a plus
  • Ability to learn fast and be quickly autonomous
