Engineer - Nuclear Fuel Mechanical Design based in Paris, France.
Your Day-to-Day:
Perform routine engineering design analyses using established Westinghouse developed methodologies for the development of new nuclear fuel products and enhancements of existing fuel products with an emphasis on core components.
Work in multifaceted teams with focus on new product development or issue resolution.
Initiate and support product testing activities of nuclear fuel and related components. Evaluate test results and document results in related reports.
Interface with customers, vendors, and other internal functional groups in support of design activities.
Perform design changes in support of manufacturability improvements.
Identify and assist in development of new business opportunities.
Personal development of skills necessary to assume more independent assignments.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
BS in Mechanical Engineering (or comparable technical degree) required.
0-3 years of engineering experience.
Knowledge of basic engineering principles and techniques.
Good teamwork skills.
Experience in SolidWorks, Ansys, and MATLAB is a plus.
