Electromechanical Design Engineer F/H
Missions Schneider Electric's Medium Voltage Offers (MVO) unit is seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer to join our teams for the development and technical management of Medium Voltage equipment. Based in our R&D teams in Grenoble, you will have full responsibility for a medium voltage offering, and your missions will include: Managing and conducting technical studies for the relevant range of Medium Voltage equipment. This involves translating specifications into technical solutions that meet imposed criteria (performance, quality, reliability, standards, cost, etc.) Creating, modifying, and validating designs, technical specifications, and parts lists using dedicated tools and specifications (2D and 3D CAD software, material databases, dimensioning and sizing software, etc.), while adhering to associated design rules Conducting mechanical simulations (static and dynamic) to validate and optimize the robustness of proposed technical solutions, identifying additional needs for multi-physics simulation (dielectric, thermal, etc.) Participating in the monitoring and industrial validation of technical solutions by analyzing control and manufacturing reports (component qualification, dimensional reports, statistical analysis Cp, Cpk, etc.) Drafting verification and validation plans for developed components and products, drawing on the technical reference for the offering, applicable standards, and the numerous testing laboratories on-site Proposing new technical ideas and concepts as part of continuous improvement efforts You will have the opportunity to participate in training, transformation, and continuous improvement programs to enhance our core competencies. Profile Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering At least 3 years of experience in design Strong communication, teamwork, sharing, and transmission skills Creativity, innovation, and ability to propose new ideas Proficient written and spoken English is required for the position
