Context :

The Futurol technology enables to turn lignocellulosic feedstock (agricultural and forest residues) into advanced bioethanol. This technology has been developed and proven, at pilot and demo scale, for more than 10 years by IFPEN and its partners.

NACRE, is a company incorporated by Axens and several partners to develop an industrial facility using this technology.

NACRE is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to be the sub-contracts manager and deputy Project Manager for this industrial Project.

The position is to be filled from the start of the FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) in May 2024 until the plant start-up in 2027. The deputy Project Manager will be seconded from Axens to NACRE and will maintain their current employment contract with Axens, returning to Axens after the completion of the NACRE Project. You will report to the Nacre Project Manager.

Missions :

Your main missions will be as follows:

·As the deputy Project Manager, you will join NACRE's project team.

·NACRE plans to employ a FEED contractor and then an EPCM/EPC contractor.

·NACRE intends to sub-contract 3 main parts of the facility as EPC packages.

·Additionally, buildings, site fabricated tanks, solid handling systems, etc., will likely be subcontracted as EPC packages.

·You will be responsible for managing these sub-contracts, including preparing and executing them and having full technical and commercial ownership. They may also take on other duties based on their aspirations and the project's needs.

Knowledge and Required Level :
You ideally and should have at least 15 years of project experience, including roles as Project Engineer with contracting experience. Fluency in both French and English is required,
