PUR is recruiting 2 new Data Engineers : 

- 1 experienced Data Engineer

- 1 junior Data Engineer / BI engineer (up to 30% in BI)

The positions are based in Paris to join our international Data/IT team. PUR is scaling and to do so we are redesigning our Data stack and also building new data infrastructures. As Data Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and building alongside our team the architecture to organize and connect data, orchestrate processes, create MLOps pipelines and guarantee data availability and quality to all the company.

The Data team is key to improving our impact, so you will join a purpose-driven, dynamic and growing team around the world.

Your reponsabilities will be, but not limited to :

• Maintain & Develop the architecture for our Data Pipeline, expanding on top of what’s already in use.

• Improve data quality management rules & monitor data quality processes, boosting test coverage of our pipeline.

• Maintain and improve data tools and team understanding of data flows.

• Be familiar and use Git and Git Workflows while developing.

• Feed reporting tools and manage monitoring tools.

The Junior Data Engineer will also maintain and improve data tools and team understanding of data flows with a focus on the analytic infrastructure and the BIs platforms. 

Must haves for the experienced Data Engineer :

• Experience building data pipelines including at least one of the activities below:

- Building data warehouses or datalakes,

- Building ETLs,

- Orchestrating flows with multiple data types and applications,

• At least 18 months in Data Engineering (Business Intelligence / Data Analyst not applicable),
• 3+ years using agile frameworks in the industry and some experience participating to dev huddles / agile ceremonies,
• Good skills in Python,
• Advanced skills in SQL,
• Test-Driven Development,
• Be based in Paris or willing to move, attend the office at least 3x a week,
• Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment and cross-functional collaboration,
• Dynamic, autonomous, with an interest in sustainability/climate issues,
• Fluency in English & French.

Must haves for the junior Data Engineer including some skills from above : 

• At least 12 months in Data Engineering / BI Engineering,

• 1+ years using agile frameworks in the industry and some experience participating to dev huddles / agile ceremonies,

• Feed and provide Data Visualization solutions.
