Creative Director

POSITION SUMMARY

The position will be based in our Paris office.

The Creative Director at SGK will approach every brief with fresh eyes. Avoiding familiar solutions, the candidate will create and inspire work that is distinctive, effective and truly remarkable. He leads by example to consistently inspire creative colleagues to create world-class, pioneering ideas that conceptualise solutions, while acting as a strategic and conceptual leader on projects.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced degree in Art, design, Graphic Design or similar
  • 8+ years experience working in design and art direction ; corporate branding and packaging is required
  • 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Mandatory proficiency in English
  • Extensive background in leading and managing teams, as well as overseeing client interactions
  • Maintains senior-level relationships with client by delivering custom tailored solutions to meet clients’ objectives and expectations.
  • Ensure Creative Design deliverables (i.e. visual concept, design, textual content, etc.) follow project specifications and meet or exceed client needs.
  • Develop creative, innovative, and cost effective Creative Design strategies that meet client needs, utilizing project experience, current market trends, competitor intelligence, and innovative thinking.
  • Work closely with multiple teams, departments and clients to create, develop, and complete designed solutions for specific projects.
  • Sets creative direction throughout all phases of project work from discovery to launch and beyond with ongoing optimization
  • Acts as a creative lead for one or more accounts, managing multiple tracks of work across a variety of teams
  • Ability to be flexible and collaborative in a fast-paced work environment
