Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated engineering professional with passion to controls hardware and software to join our Controls & Automation Department in Krakow Engineering Center. As a Controls Engineer, you will be cooperating closely with multiple teams spread across the globe and working on controls systems for our subsea control platforms.

The main function of this role will be to configure new and reconfigure existing Oil & Gas extraction control systems.

Job Description

  • Configuration of TechnipFMC Subsea Control System
  • Handling engineering design/drawing standards including P&IDs, Flow schematics, logic drawings, loop drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics, SIL requirements and SIL documentation
  • Control unit configurations as defined for the project
  • Preparation of technical specifications
  • Ensure that products are in compliance with applicable standards, Contract documents, HSEQ requirements and TechnipFMC specifications
  • Achieve product quality, functionality and design life as required.
  • Be pro‐active for standardization and improvements on products, procedures and routines.
  • Be involved in technical support during EFAT and site tests
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • Good understanding of modern controls and automation systems (including PLC, SCADA, Network etc.)
  • Capability to work on complex control systems
  • Support external and internal issues related to SW Configuration engineering
  • Handling of customer requirements
  • Capable to troubleshoot and give support on tasks related to SW config
  • Capable to produce system specifications
  • Capable to quickly identify quality issues and flag this to responsible Project Engineer, and Product Lead/SW
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English (B2/C1)
