Condition Base Monitoring Technician

Job Purpose:

To optimize production downtime when executing maintenance activities contributing to the development and review of risk assessments.

Your main duties will be to: -

  • Prepare offshore mission for CBM collection (either from offshore or onshore) with work order, tools, round route, integrated operational planning (IOP) and issue relevant Offshore Task request form (TRF)Execute
  • CBM tasks offshore such as monthly vibration round, monthly infrared inspection of pressure vessel, exhaust etc… , infrared thermometry survey of electrical cabinet, leak survey, passing valves survey, oil sampling
    collection, grease sampling collection, performance test of pumps.
  • First level of analysis of vibration and infrared data collected.
  • Preparation and closure of CBM notification and work order in Company Computerized Maintenance and Inspection Management System (CMIMS).
  • Issuance of follow up correction notification based on CBM findings with CMIMS.
  • Keep vibration database updated by gathering new vibration footprint after corrective maintenance work.
  • Keep leaking and passing valve register updated.
  • Promote CBM technique within offshore maintenance team.
  • Issue periodical reports on CBM activities (monthly vibration report, monthly performance follow up etc…).
  • Provide specialist CBM assistance when it comes to use CBM tool (like balancing, infrared detection etc…).
  • Must be willing to participate in Crisis Response Training and to assist during Emergency Response Situations if required.
  • Profile

     Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).

    Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.

    You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication

    You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
