The Centre for Research, Development, Applications and Technology of the West (Cerdato) employs around 250 people, including 70 PhD-engineers. Located near the Serquigny plant in the heart of the Haute-Normandie region, Cerdato is Europe's leading research and development center dedicated to high-performance materials. CERDATO's missions: • Development of High-Performance Polymers on the markets (aeronautics, automotive, packaging, energy, electronics, sports and leisure in particular) and technical assistance • Development of new polymers • Support to process departments and factories

As a watchdog for the high-performance polymers business unit, you are the interface between researchers and industrial property engineers. As the guarantor of the capitalization and availability of knowledge, you will contribute to the sustainability of internal knowledge and to make it accessible (relevance, quality and reliability) to put it at the service of researchers and project teams and to increase the group's performance. You will work in collaboration with the head of the KM (Knowledge Management) unit at Cerdato. You will define, in collaboration with the digital scientific director, the necessary tools and contribute to their development and application.

Missions:

• Competitive intelligence and documentary research for the HPP BU 
• Contribution to industrial property meetings with project teams
• Follow-up/exploitation of patents to be monitored
• Implementation of artificial intelligence tools to help exploit data from the bibliography and internal knowledge, in collaboration with the Digital Scientific Director.
• Networking with Arkema's documentalists (evolution of the range of documentary tools depending on needs and technological developments...) 
• Capitalization of knowledge and dissemination/availability via adapted tools
• Management and dynamization of Scientific and Technical Information to meet specific needs.

Required Profile

Profile

• Bac + 5 with knowledge of information processing sciences and appetite for research and chemistry professions.
• Profile with a solid knowledge in polymer chemistry/physicochemistry• Mastery of collection tools and research methodologies, experience in knowledge management functions is a plus • Knowledge of modern document management IT tools (NLP, LLM, ...) 
• Fluent English & French 
• Profile: good interpersonal skills, ability to listen, team spirit, curiosity, tenacity, analytical and synthesis skills, appetite for computer tools and the transition to artificial intelligence
