Business Developer [F/M/X]

Job description

As a Business Developer for LittleBig Rise, you will be at the forefront of our sales process, responsible for driving our business growth by generating new sales opportunities. You will focus on identifying, developing, and qualifying leads for our VMS solution (Vendor Management System). Your role is pivotal in building the sales pipeline in France and Internationally.

  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients in the IT & procurement space.
  • Utilize various prospecting tools and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns) to generate new sales leads.
  • Attend industry events and webinars to network and identify potential leads.
  1. Outreach and Engagement:
  • Reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media.
  • Craft compelling messages that highlight the unique value proposition of our IT procurement software solutions.
  • Engage in initial conversations with prospects to gauge interest and identify pain points related to IT procurement processes.
  • Work closely with the Growth Marketing team to build targeted campaigns.
  1. Qualifying Leads:
  • Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, authority, and timeline.
  • Gather key information to assess the potential for a sales opportunity.
  • Schedule appointments or demos for qualified leads with the sales team.
  1. International Exposure & Perspective

International Market Exploration:

  • Conduct market research to identify new international markets with potential for our IT procurement software solutions.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of different international markets and tailor outreach strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for different international regions.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduated Master from Business or Engineering, you want to evolve in a start-up environment.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a business development position.
  • Interest for working in a digital / new technologies environment.
  • Strong liking for B2B prospection and business development.
  • Strong communication in professional English is a must and French native.
  • Intrapreneurial mindset is a must, with transverse vision (sales, IT, finance, marketing…)
  • Mastery of generative AI such as ChatGPT or Poe.com is a plus for improving day-to-day productivity.
