WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER:

As part of our Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems business, the Saint-Ouen Development Centre is in charge of designing the main Alstom Urban CBTC Signaling Solutions: Urbalis 400, a system deployed on more than 100 projects worldwide, and Urbalis Fluence, our latest and most innovative Urban Signaling System.

The Autopilot Control Design System engineer is part of a development team.

Your role is to:

  • Design U500 PA Control equipment in the software V cycle descent according to the Cenelec 50128-2011 issued process.
  • Participate in the analysis of the internal customer’s needs to collaborate in the development of the system specification, taking into account product definition constraints (platform, security level, testability, resources) and process, using your railway signaling skills.
  • Develop the corresponding equipment specifications, with a view to developing them in compliance with the current process, taking into account the constraints of architecture, performance, safety, quality, costs, testability, and maintainability.
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews on major technical topics.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of future developments, within the framework of offers or R&D.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement actions of the post.
  • WHAT IS YOUR PROFILE?

  • Minimum training of master’s degree, engineering, or university degree, you have a first experience in a similar context on issues of specification/design of embedded systems with high safety constraints.
  • Competence in Railway signaling, and associated development standards (CENELEC 50126, 50128) are a plus.
  • You are interested in the field of railway transportation and are motivated to demonstrate your ability to innovate and work in an international context. Strong technical sensitivity, rigor, operational efficiency, team spirit, interpersonal skills and initiative are your assets for success in this role.
  • English is essential.
