As Art Director, you will be responsible for the art direction of a new AA PC game in the early stages of development.

Reporting to the Executive Producer and working in close collaboration with the core team, your main tasks will be :

  • Define the game's visual identity, in line with the creative vision, commercial ambition, production constraints and brand guidelines,
  • Draw up the game's "artistic bible" (art documents, keyarts, mockups, references, etc.) as well as the project's scope art,
  • Produce the concept arts or art briefs required for full artistic production (2D, 3D, UI, animations, VFX, etc.), in accordance with production constraints (technical, deadlines, resources),
  • Supervise the artistic production of the project and be the main guarantor of the visual quality of the game,
  • Participate in artistic production: Production and integration of assets for the game (2D, 3D), rendering polish (Lighting, Color grading, Post process, etc.),
  • Participate in the development of the project's artistic pipeline,
  • Participate in the production of marketing and community assets (keyarts, trailers, etc.).
  • Qualifications

    Ideally, you have some initial experience as an Art Director, or at least a solid background in video game development relevant to this position (Senior Concept Artist, Senior 3D Artist, Lead Artist, Associate Lead Artist, Associate Art Director, etc.).

    Skills required:

  • Mastery of 2D & 3D creative software (Adobe suite & 3ds Max in particular) and knowledge of game engines (Unity in particular),
  • Solid understanding of all stages of video game production,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English,
  • Leadership and open-mindedness,
  • Ability to be demanding while generating a friendly working atmosphere,
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology and web3 is a plus.
